Not something I normally do but saw it posted on Stop and Smell the Chocolates. Since I have nothing really the post, thought it would be a good idea.
What I’m thinking: That summer is already going too quickly.
What I’m reading: Just finished Embers of Love by Tracie Peterson. In her series Striking a Match. It was good. Also reading At Home: A Short History of Private Life by Bill Bryson. Very interesting.
What I’m listening to: Cheers on the TV. Listen to a bunch of free downloads I got from Amazon earlier. I think one of my new favorite artists is Francesca Battistelli.
What I’m learning: How to refinish furniture. I’ve done it before but now I am learning new tricks and getting better.
What I’m watching: Cheers
What’s cooking: Making chicken with cheese and bacon for dinner. Not the healthiest but tasty. Will be making bagels again tomorrow.
What I’m buying: Nothing this week.
What I’m thankful for: That it isn’t too hot so far this week. I really don’t like the heat.
What I’m creating: Refinishing the kitchen table and chairs. Project will be getting posted over on the house blog when I’m a little closer to done.
What I’m planning: Summer school. Got a bunch done today but need to do more tomorrow. Starts next week. I’ll be ready eventually, I promise. 🙂
What we did this last weekend: Worked on the new chicken coop. Went to a friends’ house for dinner and “camp”fire. Can’t really call it a campfire when there is no camping.
What I’m looking forward to: A lumberjack competition on Monday even if it is a long drive and we may end up not going.
