The time change has kicked our butts here. Sunday was a pretty awful day. And church ran over. Which normally isn’t an issue really at all. But since Abby thought it was 1:30 not 12:30, it made for a rough afternoon.
Yesterday was a little better but Abby was still up an hour early. I was exhausted. It’s possible that I fell a little asleep while we were watching Curious George after breakfast. Thankfully, by having a normal at home day, I was able to get Abby closer to the normal schedule.
This morning she still woke up an hour early but she played quietly in her crib and let me sleep until 6:50! It is unheard of for her to play in her crib. Usually once she is awake, she is ready to get up and go play.
As a result of me getting more sleep (I also fell asleep earlier last night than I have been), I woke up with energy! I have a load of wash going, I canned apple butter I made last week, I washed dishes, and I baked Abby’s muffins. During nap time I need to go out and vacuum the van and put all the winter stuff back in.
It’s amazing why getting a decent night’s sleep can do for you.
