This is a short and sweet and kind of silly frugal tip.

Don’t buy pudding cups.

Instead, buy little half cup sized Gladware containers and instant pudding mix. I keep a couple vanilla and a couple chocolate pudding mixes on hand at all times. If you want to get really frugal, you could even make your own pudding. I just don’t.

I mix up the pudding according to the side of the box and put into the little containers before the pudding is set. Put the lids on and pop in the fridge. Instant pudding cups! Taste better too. They don’t have that plasticy after taste of the store bought one.

So there you have it. Short, sweet, and kind of a “duh” moment. At least it was for me a couple years ago. 🙂
