I’m sure most of you have heard of Coinstar. If you haven’t, it is a machine that you can put your change into and it counts it. It then gives you a slip of paper to turn in for cash instead of change. For a small fee, of course. You usually find them at the grocery store, Walmart, etc.
I’m also sure most of you have heard of Amazon and most of you like to earn free Amazon gift cards (my favorite is Swagbucks).
Did you know that you can now use Coinstar to earn Amazon gift cards?
To do this, use Coinstar as normal but choose to receive a gift card instead of cash. There are other gift cards you can choose from but Amazon is my favorite. The best part? If you decide to get a gift card instead of cash, there is no percentage taken from your total! You get to keep your entire amount.
Not every Coinstar machine offers all gift card options so I suggest that you check their website to see if you local machine does before you lug all your change to one. I have two local machines and one has many gift card choices and the other only has a couple. So it is worth checking before you head to one.
