I’m still alive. Barely. Last week I was sick then Friday-Monday we had four competitions. I’m very excited for our nine days off before our next competition. I’m so burned out and ready for a break. Glad for a few days of normalcy.
That being said, there has only been one way that I have been able to manage house stuff on top of lumberjack stuff this summer: my “command center” on my fridge.
The top sheet is Monday-Saturday inside a sheet protector. With the sheet protector, I am able to use it like a dry erase board. I can put my to do list on each day. Whatever I don’t finish, I move to the next day.
The bottom sheet is just a blank calendar for the month. With so many days not home, it was much easier to plan my menus way ahead. I do it in pencil just in case I need to change something based on a sale, etc.
August was still a crazy month but this made it so much easier. I have used the chore list paper for a long time but the menu calender has made a world of difference. I would eventually like to get an actual weekly dry erase board for for now, this works fine.
