I have managed to get a number of great deals on clothing this month. I have discovered this thrift store in the next town over. I had known about it for awhile but never went there. Always figured it wasn’t very good since it was so small and a mill town. Nothing against mill towns but most people wear Walmart clothes, nothing of good quality. So figured the thrift store wouldn’t have many good things.

Boy, was I wrong. Small, yes, but a ton of stuff and most of it was pretty good. I added them to my Facebook and discovered that once a month they do $5 bag days. $5 for a plastic shopping bag full of clothes. Baby, kids, mens, women’s, doesn’t matter. Just fill the bag and pay $5. Awesome!

Here’s what I got there. Didn’t get much as I didn’t have a while lot of time. And didn’t know how much would fit in a bag (they don’t put it in the bag until you go to pay). Next month, I will know better and will plan for more time.

Then I went over to meet a lady from a Facebook buy/swap/sell group I am a member of to buy clothes for Abby.. Was a bit disappointed. Was not a smoke free home and not very good quality. But I felt bad that she took time to meet with me so I found a few things. Pajamas and one pair of pants that I realized was too small once I got home (was in a hurry to get away from the smoke). Spend $3 on these.

Then today I went to meet another lady from a different Facebook group. Was a much better experience. $12 got me:
-4 rompers/sunsuits/one-piece dresses
-2 dresses
-1 jumper
-2 pjs
-1 skirt
-1 shirt
-1 pair of shorts

I also received some clothing for Abby free from a friend. We shouldn’t have to buy her any more clothes until fall. I may start looking for fall clothes now that people are selling. I looked today but her 3-6 month clothes were summery.
