Sometimes we wonder if anyone notices the realities of frugal living. I mean, really, it isn’t all big coupon shopping trips and fun making bread. It isn’t all just making everything from scratch and cutting the cable cord. Sometimes it is really, really hard! Sometimes it’s so frustrating you just want to cry. The reality is, sometimes you want to give up, throw in the towel, and just not care anymore while drowning your sorrows in a pint of ice cream that you didn’t get on sale. That’s what this post is all about.

Frugal living is a well-known topic the last few years. It’s awesome that people want to learn more about saving money and using what they have. It is a great skill to learn and being good stewards of our money is important. Definitely, something everyone should learn. But what about for those people where it is more than just saving a little here or there? The ones that live on a small income and have to make it stretch. For them, the realities of frugal living are very different. Sometimes those realities are pretty awesome. Sometimes living on a super tight budget, not by choice, is just plain hard. Here are some of the realities of frugal living of those living on a very tight budget.
