It has been so nice up here recently. Sunny, warm (60s/70s), so amazing after a long winter. Perfect weather for lots of playing outside and spring cleaning. Around this house, here is what spring cleaning looks like.
Laundry. Lots and lots of laundry. Regular laundry, winter clothing, all the sheets….well, you get the idea.
Many other things going on too. The typical “clean the windows” thing is a big one. General deep cleaning of the house. Even vacuuming out the van after a winter of salt/sand stuck to shoes and tracked in.
My big project is still working on the basement room. I have already made one trip to Goodwill, hoping to have at least one more. I’m sure it would be easier to do one big trip but I need the piles out of my way so I have space to work.
Today I went through all the 0-6 months baby clothing one more time before I store the container away. Was able to take a few more items out. I’m really trying to save only the things I love. My thrifty side (save everything so I don’t have to buy more) is really fighting my minimalist side (give it all away). I think I have a happy medium now. I have one 21 gallon Rubbermaid tote full, including a snowsuit. 6-12 months will get the same size. That is very doable.
