There are a lot of money saving, coupon, money back, and even money earning smartphone apps out there. I've even talked about my 5 favorite smartphone apps before. Since then, I've added a couple new ones to my weekly shopping routine like Saving Star and MobiSave. But one app always comes out on top for me. Which app is that, that you ask? Why, Ibotta, of course! I beyond love Ibotta. In fact, I think Ibotta is the best coupon app out there right now. Now, go download it!! Alright, … [Read more...]

Why Moms Drink So Much Coffee
You've seen them. I know you have. One of the many, many memes about why moms drink coffee. All the shirts about moms needing coffee. And of course, coffee mugs about moms needing coffee. But is it really just a stereotype? Nope! At least, not for this mama. Double Batches to Save Money and Time
If you are like a lot of people trying to live on a budget, you probably make a lot of your own items yourself. For me, that means I make most of our baked goods. My husband takes two muffins for his breakfast and a couple cookies as part of his lunch every work day. Life Happens and Sleep Is Needed
Ever have a season of life where you can't seem to catch your breath? I'm there. Which is why there wasn't a normal blog post this morning. I may have, possibly.....forgotten to write a post. Yup. It's true. I usually write my posts at least 1-2 weeks before they go live. It's been so insane around here, I haven't been doing that. Then we had a five day stretch of competitions over the weekend. I was barely home. So writing just didn't happen. Then, Saturday night, the baby was awake every … [Read more...]

I don't feel like I can write about something that I am currently really struggling with. I knew the transition from one kid to two kids would be hard. Everyone I know who has more than one kid says one to two is the hardest transition. But, mamas, it's really hard. Pregnancy was really rough for me then we had baby #2 five weeks early which … [Read more...]
