We decided awhile ago that we would be doing cloth diapers to save money. Cloth diapers are so different from how they were when I was a baby so I knew it would be easier than years past. We are doing the cheapest option, prefolds, seen above, and a cover. There are all kinds of new cloth diapers like all in ones (the diaper and cover are one piece), ones that have disposable liners, and tons more. However, what we are doing, is not only the cheapest but also the easiest to care for. They … [Read more...]
All I Can Think of is the Re-Return
Today should be known as "the day of the returns." We went to Lowe's, Target, Carter's, and LL Bean to do returns/exchanges. I will never buy window cleaner again. Works just as well. You do need to rub a little bit more. Think 2 … [Read more...]
Thrifty Thursday Goes to the Grocery Store
Today is my first ever Thrifty Thursday post. Some weeks will be kitchen or cleaning tips. Other weeks will be frugal recipes. And some weeks, like this one, will be about shopping. This week is about my grocery trip to Shaw's. I do my main shopping at Hannaford but buy things at Shaw's when they are on sale and I have coupons. I can often get things cheaper there that way that I can at Wal-mart or Hannaford with their regular prices or sales prices. This is what I bought this … [Read more...]
