Frugal Christmas: Christmas Cards
I love sending and receiving Christmas cards. I really enjoy it. I love displaying the cards we receive. Last year I arranged them to look like a Christmas tree. I also love trying to find a cute way to write our Christmas letter. But it is so time consuming not to mention expensive to send cards. Sending 50 cards is $23 in just postage, not counting the cards, paper for a Christmas letter, photos if you add those, etc. With our recent change in income, there was no way we could afford to do cards … [Read more...]
Shopping Trip….63% Savings and a Great Soup Deal

That may seem like a lot but we are trying to stay on the minimalist side on her wardrobe. We purchased a big bag of clothes for her this summer for cheap but she didn't wear most of it. Or many things were different prints that didn't go together. It ended up being more of a pain than it was worth in the end.So now we are trying to just buy the things we … [Read more...]
Frugal Tip: Use Your Warranty
Sunday night when we got home from our last competition, we noticed the laptop was being strange. It kept beeping saying it was plugged in, unplugged, plugged in, etc. It was still doing it yesterday. I had to hold the power cord a certain way to get the battery to charge. As of last night, it wouldn't charge at all. I check Amazon for a new power cord. My old laptop I could get one for $6. This one....$20. But still cheaper than if I have to get the power jack itself fixed so I put it into my … [Read more...]
