Summer hasn't even really started yet and it is already full. We will be doing 15 woodsmen/lumberjack competitions this summer. That is twice what we normally do. While this was the plan, it still seems like an awful lot. We will not exist again until after Columbus Day. Any weekend that we don't have a competition, we will be sleeping or working on the house. Merry Christmas
Each year, we get a new, special ornament for our Christmas tree. Sometimes we buy it. Sometimes it is a gift. Matt went bird hunting this weekend. He left Thursday and should be home in a couple hours. So it was up to me to feed the pig. No big deal. Whatever. Walk outside Friday morning around 8, aimed for the shed to get the pig food and here is the sight that was waiting for me.We had had strong wind and heavy rain during the night and it managed to knock a dead tree over unto of canoe and lawn mower.
